It was busy as usual taking part in the popular twitter hour #womensinspire along with lots of other female entrepreneurs. That's where I first connected with Michelle Mc Loughlin who was the featured business that night using her hashtag #businessSOS.
Michelle was promoting her new business 'Train With Us' and I was thrilled to win the prize she had offered, which was, a one hour consultation with regards to achieving a particular business goal of my choice.
Top of my list was to achieve on-line sales of my limited edition art prints. In November 2016 I launched my new website alongside the launch of a new collection of paintings and limited edition art prints.
Exhibiting my work during the launch certainly prompted direct sales and word of mouth is growing all the time. However, I needed to raise the awareness that I also have an on-line shop.
"Top of my list was to achieve on-line sales of my limited edition art prints."
By the end of the consultation hour, Michelle had helped me to identify key tasks which we both agreed would be useful for generating awareness of my on-line shop.
Michelle helped me to prioritise my tasks and gave me a time limit for achieving them. We agreed to have a review session within one month. Meanwhile, I was quite aware that Michelle had eyes and ears on all my social media activities. It was lovely that from time to time she gave me encouragement seeing that I was indeed acting on my agreed tasks.
"A few days before my review with Michelle, I achieved my goal of an on-line art sale!"
If you need help identifying how to achieve your goals and could do with some motivation and accountability, I suggest you connect with Michelle at @trainwithusire on Twitter or via her website www.trainwithus.ie
My limited edition prints are an excellent choice of gift for someone special or perhaps a special celebration. As small selection of my art work has been reserved for printing as limited editions. The are printed on Hahnemuhle paper using giclee archival inks. They come with a certificate of authenticity and can be delivered worldwide.
Through my art and writing I share stories and inspiration for transformation, healing and dreams turning to reality. When you visit my gallery you glimpse my journey, my authentic path. It took a ‘Break True’ moment to point me towards developing my artistic talents. It’s never too late to make a new start. I’ve achieved a lot in a relatively short time. My work has been presented in New York as part of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, has been displayed on county Post Office and has been show-cased on National TV. Read more about my art journey here.

When all the work was done, I wanted to find out which paintings would be most admired, chosen and cherished. During my exhibition featuring 'The Sacred Lives Of Trees' collection, the paintings that received the most admiration were 'Treedom', 'Evening Tide', 'Loves Light Upon Us' and 'Gaurdians'. Other paintings had more individual admirers, we are […]
