Are you drawn to the other world of ancient times? This painting is inspired by an area called the Moate near where I grew up. It's an earthen structure on the highest point in the county and it's thought a sacred tree grew there, from which the village derived its name. This art piece is part of a collection called The Sacred Lives of Trees.
