Delve Deeper
My first encounter with the fruit of the Carob tree happened during my time spent in Portugal’s sunny Algarve.
I found them on the ground behind my caravan one morning. They looked burnt and for a moment I thought they had fallen from the sky. Portugal's Algarve was experiencing a fire on the mountain at that time. I looked around and quickly realised they had fallen from a nearby tree.
